These photographs are not part of any of the major bodies of work that I have made over the years. They have been made while on my travels and closer to home and are a collection of observed moments that make up our existence. I have always been acutely aware of those mini, unscripted scenarios that play out around me when I am navigating my surroundings, no matter where I am or for what purpose may have placed me there. Documentary photographs, in addition to being a record of the moment, can become vehicles for the imagination.
